2022 KUCCPS PLACEMENT PROCESS
KUCCPS placement process entails qualified KCSE students applying online through their website. The applications for placement is a 10 stage process.

Process of Course application via the Kenya Universities and Central Placement Service (KUCCPS)
Step 1: School(Centre) Application.
- Happens at school
- KCSE class submits degree, TVET choices.
- No placement done at this stage
- The exercise ended on April 1 , 2022 .
Step 2 : First revision of course choices.
- The first revision/ application system was open from March 19 to June 2, 2022.
- Applicants who didn’t apply via their respective schools had a chance to apply, and those who applied earlier had a chance to revise their course choices.
- Happens after release of KCSE exam results.
Step 4 : Placement of Processing .
- Students allocated courses on merit based on their choices and available slots.
- Successful applicants notified, wait for admission letter from respective institutions.
- Unsuccessful applicants asked to revise choices. (second revision)

Step 4 : Second revision of course choices.
- This application was open to Candidates who missed a placement for any of their Degree or Diploma choices after the First revision.
- The second revision/ application system was open from 7th-11th June, 2022.
- System allocates courses on merit and considering applicant’s choices.
- Those who don’t secure a course asked to revise choices again (third revision of Choices)
Step 5 : Third and Final revision of course choices
- The third revision/ application system was open as from june 14 to June 17, 2022.
- This application is open to Candidates who missed a placement for any of their Degree or Diploma choices after the First and Second revision.
Step 6 : Placement of students.
Applicants who meet the requirements but are not placed in any of their preferred choices after third revision will be offered placement in any unfilled programmes and university. Affirmative action criteria will be applied at the end of the placement process.
Step 7 : Final approval of placement.
The KUCCPS Board will give final approval of the placement of applicants after the end of the process.
Step 8 : Communication of results.
The results of the application [first, second and third revision ] will be communicated to the applicants via www.kuccps.net / SMS as soon as they are available after the selection process is completed.
Step 9 : Admission letters.
The actual admission letters to the successful applicants will be sent by the individual academic institutions where the applicants will be placed.
Step 10 :Inter-university transfer.
Applicants who have already been selected for courses in universities or colleges and may wish to transfer to other institutions/courses may take advantage of this opportunity.
