A public technical and vocational training facility called the Eldoret National Polytechnic, or TENP, is situated 5 kilometers from Eldoret town on the Eldoret-Kapsabet road. The Eldoret National Polytechnic offers a range of academic programs, including business courses assessed by KASNEB, diploma courses, and certificate courses.

KNEC, City & Guilds, PPB, KMLTTB, and KASNEB are TENP test bodies. Depending on the subject, the Eldoret National Polytechnic typically opens its doors to new students in January, May, and September.
Students that apply via the KUCCPS portal gain access to the TVET university with government sponsorship from Kenya.
