The TSC,whose core mandate is to employ and manage the teachers manpower in the country,has in the past been known to have a tight stance on transfers that affect it’s members depending on the duration of service in a particular station before requesting and becoming eligible to secure a transfer.
In the latest development however,TSC seems to have revised these rules governing teacher transfer from one station to another.
In the ongoing transfer activities countrywide,a number of teachers who had served the commission for a period of less than 5 years were incorporated.
In a circular issued bey TSC,the commission considered permitting it’s members who had atleast 3 years of working period to transfer to other stations.

“The Commission shall consider transfer requests for married couples to appropriate stations or locations,” read part of the none monetary CBA signed between the employer and union official.
