Harton Grange Academy is a leading British Curriculum School located in the leafy suburbs of Eldoret town. We are committed to attracting, developing and retaining highly qualified staff.
Due to our growth prospects and our strategic plan, we seek to fill the following positions in September 2022 with high caliber, self-motivated, result oriented and experienced professionals to join our vibrant team.
1. Teachers:
a) ICT Teacher KS 3 & 4
b) KS 1 Teacher
c) KS 2 Teacher; Mathematics and Science
d) Sports Teacher

Minimum Requirements:
Ö A Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent.
Ö At least 3 years’ teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
Ö Valid TSC Number.
Ö Deep understanding of the statutory curriculum requirements for the subject and the requirements for assessment and reporting.
Ö Ability to use ICT in effective curriculum delivery.
Ö Ability to multitask and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ö Ability to enable a supportive environment for learners to realize their full potential.
Ö Ability to maintain professionalism in all areas and demonstrate planning and organization skills.
Ö Strong interpersonal skills.
Ö Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Human Resource Manager

Minimum Requirements:
Ö A HR-related Bachelor’s Degree or a HND in Human Resource Management.
Ö At least 3 years of progressive experience in HR management and leadership.
Ö CHRP (K) or a current CHRP student.
Ö Working experience in an international school will be highly advantageous.
Ö Member of IHRM in good standing.
Ö Experience in managing different types of employees-consultants, expatriates, contract, and casuals
Ö In-depth understanding of Kenya’s employment laws.
Ö People-oriented.
Ö Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ö Strong ethics, reliability and integrity.
Ö Ability to multitask and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ö Ability to maintain professionalism in all areas and demonstrate planning and organization skills.
3. Lab Technician:
Minimum Requirements:

Ö Degree or Diploma in Science from a reputable institution.
Ö At least 3 years’ of working experience in a school laboratory.
Ö Proven record of preparing students’ practical works with a high mark of excellence.
Ö Ability to identify issues and address these thoroughly by making effort to find appropriate solutions.
Ö Ability to multitask and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ö A committed with passion to work with students.
Ö A person of high integrity who upholds professionalism and character.
Ö Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Driver:
Minimum Requirements:

Ö “O” Level Certificate.
Ö A valid driver’s license.
Ö A valid certificate of Good Conduct (not more than six months old)
Ö Basic First Aid knowledge.
Ö At least 2 years’ working experience as a school driver.
Ö Knowledge of the Highway Code and ability to follow traffic rules.
Ö Ability to operate the school bus in a safe and responsible manner.
Ö Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ö Be able to handle unexpected situations with ease.
Ö Excellent time management skills.
