KITENGELA SCHOOL ESTATES OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts complete detailed inspections of estates, including interviews and legal
searches - Prepares complete reports on each estate inspection.
- Oversee the general maintenance of school facilities, office space and general design and layout to ensure optimal utilization
- Maintenance of grounds, buildings and engineering installations including staff houses, classrooms, workshops, laboratories, water pumps, machinery
- Environmental management
- Health and safety management
- Waste disposal
- Supervision of staff in department and external contractors/services engineers
- Professional management of building/construction works and maintenance of contracts including budgets
Qualifications and Skills - HND/Diploma in Building and Construction Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar position
- Ability to evaluate urban properties for rental, sale or insurance purposes
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of new and innovative technology
