KITENGELA SCHOOL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Duties and Responsibilities - To liaise with Science teaching staff on practicals, ensuring efficiency in allocation and use of laboratory materials and equipment
- Give advice on technical components of the curriculum, assisting with lab demonstration, sensitizing students on safety matters while in the lab
- Set up equipment for class/departmental use and ensure practicals run smoothly
- Carry out safe chemical handling and disposal
- labeling of chemicals
- Requisition for equipment and supplies in a timely manner
- Stock taking and maintenance of laboratory chemicals
- Supervise cleaning of laboratory equipment to ensure efficient operations
- Report any breakdown of equipment for purpose of decision making on replacements

Qualifications and Skills - Diploma or Certificate in Science Laboratory Technology in Biology, Chemistry and
Physics from reputable institution. - Minimum of 2 years working experience in International Curriculum school setting
- Problem solving skills
