KMTC Admission Requirements 2022/2023
To enroll in a certificate program at KMTC, you must have at least a C- in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with specified qualifications in cluster subjects. You must have a minimum grade of C in cluster subjects to be considered for diploma programs. Candidates must have a certificate in a particular field for upgrading courses, and candidates must have completed a diploma course for higher diploma programs, according to the following guidelines.
The following table is a summary of the requirements for courses offered:

| 2 | Diploma | KCSE mean grade of C (or equivalent) with relevant combination of other subjects such as English, Kiswahili, Biology, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Physical Sciences. | 3 years except Community Health Nursing which lasts 3 ½ years |
| 3 | Upgrading | Holders of a certificate in relevant fields and at least two years working experience. | 2 years except Community Health Nursing which lasts 18 Months |
