The Kenya National examination council will at the end of this year 2022 administer three crucial examinations.
Kenya certificate of primary education KCPE will take place between 28th and 30th November 2022.
Kenya certificate of secondary education KCSE will also be done between 1st and 23rd December 2022.

Grade 6 learners will also sit a national assessment test is called Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) between Monday 28th November to Wednesday November 30th.
The development is a sharp departure from the normal administration of two exams only per year i.e.KCPE and KCSE.

The move has necessitated a serious incorporation of more manpower in the administration band manning of the afforementioned three examinations.

It should be noted that primary school teachers have been used to man the Kenya certificate of secondary education examinations as invigilators while some secondary school teachers also stepped in to man the Kenya certificate of secondary examinations.

However in this year will be different altogether.
Following the communications done to various schools,all teachers will be involved in this year’s Invigilation and Supervision of exams.

To this effect, now all secondary school teachers will manage the KCSE examinations while all primary school teachers will manage the KCPE and KPSEA exams.

The teachers are therefore supposed to submit details of their Names,I.d.number,TSC number,mobile number ,work station,Qualification,KRA pin,work experience,Designation of the teacher to perform I.e.Centre Manager,Deputy Centre manager, Supervisor,Invigilator,Residential place,station worked previously and preferred station of work.

It therefore means that exam Invigilation and Supervision is no longer a voluntary duty but a compulsory for all.The numbers of candidates this year is expected to rise exponentially owing to the 100% transition to secondary schools as well as the free primary education.

Grade six learner’s who will sit their KPSEA examinations in the above mentioned dates will be transiting to junior secondary (grade 7,8 & 9)in January 2023 marking the first ever secondary double intake.
