Kuccps Inter-university transfer Open for 2021/2022 Students, check on New Deadline

Those Candidates for the KCSE in 2021 may now change the colleges and universities to which they have been accepted.
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (Kuccps) announced the opening of an online portal to aid with inter-institutional transfers in a news release.

Colleges and courses that the system assigned students to will transfer with them to the Technical and Vocational Education Training Institutions (Tvets).
TheInter-institutional transfers are the last phase of the student placement process, according to Dr. Agnes Wahome, chief executive officer of Kuccps.

Under this phase, students who have been admitted to universities, colleges, and Tvet institutions through Kuccps are permitted to make a final switch from one institution to another if they so choose.

Inorder to enable inter-institutional transfer applications for students assigned to multiple universities, colleges, and Tvet institutions, she added, “Kuccps portal would be opened on Monday, July 25, 2022.”

On August 24, 2022, the inter-exchange exercise will come to an end.
A total of 123,963 students with grades of C+(plus) or higher were assigned to universities to enroll in a variety of courses during this year’s placement, while another 124,258 were placed in Tvet institutions.

Also a total of 555,573 students with grades of C and below were eligible but did not apply for placement in Tvet institutions.
The numerous university students have already reported, including those allocated to the Technical University of Kenya (Tuk).

Dr. Wahome asserts that in order for a transfer application to be accepted, the applicant must satisfy the requirements for the programs to which they are hoping to move.
