KUCCPS New KMTC Application Deadline for 2022 KCSE Candidates.
Students who missed the initial Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) placement have been given a fresh deadline by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
The placement agency indicated that the new deadline for placement applications will be Saturday, September 16, 2023 in a statement issued on Tuesday. This is because many students were unable to acquire spots.
The original KMTC placement deadline had been set for Sunday, September 10.

The extension is intended to provide KMTC applicants who were unsuccessful at the Medical Training College another chance to try their luck.
Additionally, the extension provides students additional opportunity to select related courses that they would like to pursue and make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits.
The Ministry of Health has entrusted KMTC, a state company, with the responsibility of educating people in the numerous health disciplines needed to service the local, regional, and global markets.
With more than 40,000 students enrolled in a variety of programs, it is the largest health training institution in Kenya.
A wide variety of courses, ranging from certificate to degree level, are offered by KMTC. Clinical medicine, nursing, environmental health, pharmacy, public health, and laboratory technology are among the courses that are available.
Radiography, physiotherapy, and medical engineering are additional courses.
Over 70 campuses belonging to KMTC are spread out over the nation.
A C (plain) or better in the KCSE or its equivalent is the minimum score required for admission to KMTC. The cost of attending KMTC varies depending on the campus and the programme.
The KUCCPS placement procedure takes into account a student’s KCSE grade, course preferences, and the availability of spots in universities and institutions.
