KUCCPS Reveals Opening Online Application
KUCCPS Reveals Opening Online Application.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will begin accepting new students who want to pursue a diploma in primary teacher education at various teacher training colleges in June.
This comes after the Ministry of Education recently increased KUCCPS’ jurisdiction by transferring admission of new TTC students to the placement agency.
Dr Mercy Wahome, CEO of KUCCPS, stated that KUCCPS would bring value to the TTC admission process by utilizing their automated placement mechanism to ensure fair competition among applicants.
“One of our greatest assets is our ability to assign students in the most equitable manner imaginable.
In a statement Wahome stated, “We can assure the Ministry that KUCCPS is up to the task.”
Despite this, some students were unable to enroll in such courses for a variety of reasons, including a lack of ability to achieve the minimum prerequisites or program competitiveness.
Many candidates have been waiting for the KUCCPS site to open in order to revise their programs.
Dr. Wahome has announced that the online portal is now open for course first revisions. Applicants who were unable to be placed or who were placed in courses in which they did not feel comfortable are encouraged to revise.
