Education CS Prof. George Magoha has pleaded with school principals not to send learners home because of fees during this economic times as schools re-open.

CS Magoha spoke Thursday morning after commissioning phase two CBC classroom at PCEA Rungiri High School in Kabete, Kiambu County.

The CS said confirms, Kabete Sub-County classrooms completion is at 100pc while Kiambu as a County is at 80pc complete.

Prof. Magoha also inspected and commissioned phase two CBC classroom at Uthiru Girls High as well as two CBC classroom at Mary Leakey Girls High School School in Kiambu County.

The CS said learners will remain in schools even during the postponed elections in some parts of the country.

He said Marsabit, Mandera and Nyeri have already hit 100pC completion adding that by next week they will have completed 3500 classrooms.

The CS commended parents for allowing their children to report back to school saying they now have enough time to revise.

He said their security is of high importance adding that the Govt will ensure the school programme isn’t interfered with again even as the Country undergoes a leadership transition
