Replacement of TSC 2023 September. All instructors who left the service in the fourth quarter of this year due to Natural Attrition across the nation will be replaced, according to the Instructors Service Commission (TSC).

More than 1000 instructors who left the workforce in July and August will be replaced by the commission.

The commission intends to publish a list of open positions along with information about the schools where those positions are located and the subject combinations that those institutions must offer.

Replacement of TSC 2023 September
Due to the complete transfer from primary schools, we found a shortage of around 38,054 teachers in elementary schools and a significant shortage of about 58,291 instructors in post-primary institutions.

For effective service delivery, the TSC estimates that there is a teacher deficit of around 96,000 in Kenyan schools.

The Technical and Vocational Education Training Colleges are in need of about 5,000 additional teachers due to their size.

He stated that a plan is being developed by the administration to increase the number of teachers in all public schools.

He added that the group is working on a strategy to create a welcoming workplace for all teachers across the nation.
