TSC Total Internship Salary After All Deductions As at End of July 2022

The Teachers Service Commission through the internship program offers a one year of service required of teachers hired
TSC also Clarifies that intern teachers are welcome to apply if TSC posts job openings for permanent positions when advertised.

The internship may be terminated at the commission’s or an officer or placed request for unsatisfactory performance or a failure to adhere to the standards of conduct established for the internship.

Based on TSC internship agreement, the Internship will be non-remunerative but they  will receive a stipend as may occasionally be decided by the Commission. Also the Commission will make annual financial provisions in this regard.

All Secondary school intern teachers receive a special remuneration of Ksh 20,000.
There are Two deductions must be made from this sum:
- Ksh 200.00 from the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF)
Ksh 750.00 from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).

Total amount of deductions is Ksh 950.00.
Once all deductions, the teacher receives Ksh 19,050.00 as payment.
