Vacancy – Adherence/Psychosocial counsellor
DREAM Kenya Trust is a Faith Based Organization that offers holistic care and treatment services to
People Living with HIV/AIDS through support from partners. DREAM Kenya wishes to recruit an
Adherence/Psychosocial Counsellor who is competent, organized, highly motivated and results oriented
to join a dynamic team.
The position is based in Nairobi and the Adherence counsellor will report to the Clinical Lead.

Requirements
- Have a Diploma in Psychosocial Counselling from a recognized institution
Certificate in Adherence counseling from NASCOP Accredited (added advantage)
Minimum of 1 year working experience in HIV clinic - Good skills on psychosocial counseling and adherence counseling
- Address aspects of behaviour change in relation to HIV and ART
- Be able to generate monthly reports to the relevant institutions
- Be able to support clients disclose their HIV status with a focus on pediatrics and adolescents
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on clients’ information
Be ICT proficient

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Swahili) - Have the ability to prioritize duties, work under minimal supervision, and maintain strict deadlines
- Have or ready to obtain a certificate of good conduct
- Good knowledge of child protection rights
